Sailing in a whisper boat
For several years now, you can sail on the river Regge with a whisper boat. With a speed of about 5 to 10 km/hour you can discover the beautiful Twents Regge valley from the water. Because the boats are powered by an electric motor, you will only hear the lapping of the water and the sounds of nature. The boats are suitable for four to six people.
De Wilgenweard
At De Wilgenweard in Nijverdal, you can do numerous activities such as canoeing, supping, mountain biking and escaperooms. Workshops, bachelor parties and team-building activities are also organized here.

Pelmolen Ter Horst
On the outskirts of Rijssen stands the octagonal tower mill, De Pelmolen Ter Horst, on the river Regge. When the wind is favorable, you can see the oil mill in full operation and the smell of warm linseed meets you as you enter.
Enterse Zomp
ver the centuries, the regge has been navigated by Enterse Zompen, flat-bottomed boats that needed little water.
From April to November there are regular cruises for groups. In July and August there are special sailing days for those interested.
The zomp departs from Pelmolen Ter Horst in Rijssen and from the boathouse De Schuttevaer in Hellendoorn.

Did you know that the MTB Route Hellendoorn-Nijverdal has won the public award "The Golden Shovel 2022"? This is the most prestigious recognition for the best MTB Trail based on maintenance and riding experience! And from our park you can follow this trail! Besides the Hellendoorn-Nijverdal route you can also follow the Hellendoorn route. Both routes are signposted and can also be ridden as one big route since they cross each other.
