Hellendoorn MTB-Route (18 km)
This route won the public award "The Golden Shovel 2022", making it the best MTB Trail based on maintenance and riding experience! This purple route runs directly alongside the park and covers a distance of 18 kilometers on unpaved trails through forests and heathlands. The trail has the unprecedented number of 300 altimeters by Dutch standards. This purple route can be a tough one especially, after prolonged rainfall! Is 18 kilometers still not enough, you can easily extend this route with the blue route through the Sallandse Heuvelrug!
Holterberg MTB trail (30km)
The blue route runs through the Sallandse Heuvelrug and has a distance of 30 kilometers. This route takes you via the Holterberg, Sprengenberg, Nijverdalseberg back to Hellendoorn. Variety guaranteed!
This MTB route between Holten and Nijverdal can also be ridden consecutively with the above purple route (18 kilometers) in Hellendoorn.
